Same as all other entertainment really. Some is just fun, some really makes you think. Anime does help give insight in a culture I am less familiar with though.

Anime didn't change my personality, but thanks to anime I met people that has the same hobby that otherwise I woudn't have met.

Do you meet these people in real life through conventions? That would be cool. Unfortunately there's not many anime gatherings where I live.

Well can't say anime change my life but it's happen when I burrow H anime from a friend and I fallen since then.

I generally consider anime more a distraction from my life than a life changer, so to speak.

Anime help me big time to move past a big period of depression in my life. I admit now I should have done other things as well but it helped me a lot.
