T-98 Next only: The CD-ROM driver for T-98 Next requires that you specify the SCSI ID of the CD drive you assigned to the emulator.
I currently have a CD-RW drive, a DVD-RW drive and 3 virtual SCSI drives on my system and I usually use the second virtual drive for game images so SCSI ID 1 is the right value for me. ALL MY BOOT DISKS for T-98 NEXT ARE CONFIGURED WITH THIS VALUE. But depending on your setup it might be not the right value for you. If you get errors from "cdsd.sys" (the CD-ROM driver) you will have to manually edit the config.sys file and set it to the right value. To do so just extract "config.sys" from the T-98 Next boot disk with
editdisk and open it with an editor like notepad. Leave everything as it is - you only need to edit 1 line:
device=cdsd.sys /d:_cd101 /i1
The "/i1" is the value you'll need to change. If you don't know the ID of your drive simply try different values. IDE drives should always be set to 0 BTW. Start with 0 and see if it works now. If not work your way up. 0,1,2 should cover most cases anyway. Once you've finished editing save the changes and put config.sys back onto the disk overwriting the old one.
