[Hinweis] Starttermin von Die Melancholie der Haruhi Suzumiya 2. Staffel nun bekannt oder auch nicht

Ein Werbespot für die März Ausgabe des Newtype Magazins verriet nun den offiziellen Starttermin der 2. Staffel von Die Melancholie der Haruhi Suzumiya und so wird die Serie im April 2009 ihre Premiere im japanischen TV haben. Die März Ausgabe des Magazins wird ab dem 10. Februar im Handel erhältlich sein und den Werbespot können registrierte User auf Nicovideo.jp sich anschauen.
In Hinblick auf das Cover, wird die neue Ausgabe Details über Besetzung und Geschichte zu dem neuen Anime Projekt, basierend auf dem Haruhi Suzumiya Light Novel von Nagaru Tanigawa und Noizi Ito, bekannt geben. Weiterhin wird es ein Interview mit "Brigade Leader Assistent" Yasuhiro Takemoto geben. Takemoto führte für die erste Staffel die Regie.
Als Suzumiya Haruhi sich das erste Mal in ihrer neuen Schule vorstellen soll, erklärt sie ihren neuen Schulkameraden sofort, dass sie kein Interesse an alltäglichen Dingen hat. Was sie interessiert sind Aliens, Menschen aus der Zukunft, außergewöhnliche Fähigkeiten und Gleicheres. Sofort gründet sie das SOS Dan, einen Klub der sich mit außergewöhnlichen Dingen beschäftigen soll und Kyon wird von ihr als erstes Mitglied auserkoren. Sehr zu seinem Leidwesen, denn ist er doch genau das Gegenteil von Haruhi und hat sich nie besonders für solche Sachen interessiert.

Seit der ersten Serie gaben die Macher zu glauben, dass es keine weiteren Anime Projekte dazu geben wird. Doch im Dezember 2007 veröffentlichte eine geheimnisvolle Seite einen Artikel, in dem stand, dass Takemoto die Regie eines neuen Anime Projekts übernommen hat und es wurde auf den 4. Light Novel Band The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya angespielt. Eine andere Internetseite gab im letzten Mai Takemoto den Titel "Brigade Leader Assistent".​

UPDATE:
Wieder einmal hat sich die Ankündigung der zweiten Staffel als Ente herausgestellt. Wie ein Mitarbeiter von Kadokawa Shoten inzwischen bekannt gab, handelt es sich bei der für April angekündigten Sendung lediglich um eine neuerliche Austrahlung der ersten Staffel.

The news that the “Haruhi TV Anime” was set to air in April, thought by all to be either the long awaited second series or an almost unbelievably perverse marketing stunt, in fact does turn out to be a carefully worded piece of deception: it refers only to a rerun of the previously aired first season of Haruhi

Fans are predictably outraged, though it remains to be seen whether they will finally abandon the series, or will merely grumble and obediently commence purchasing should a new series actually emerge.

The dread confirmation emerged after direct enquiries to Kadokawa, which drew official confirmation that it was merely their grandiose way of pulling in the punters to view their repeat airing.

Strange that they wouldn’t bother to mention the fact that the new airing was a repeat of the first season in any of their material?

Their use of just “TV anime” without mentioning the name of the series now seems retrospectively suspect, and their deliberate efforts to incite speculation about the 2nd season, only to then deceive fans with weaselled wording, is surely nothing more than wilful and reprehensible deception.

Is this some disastrous attempt at generating “buzz”, or are their marketing departments entirely staffed by incompetents? Certainly, fans will likely not believe a word they say from here on, and quite sensibly too.

Probably most fans will not care anymore after this latest disappointment, but there is some lingering speculation that a back to back broadcast of the first series followed directly by the second is what is planned – this would mean a summer start for the title.

It would probably be better for fans just to forget this wretched series ever existed and obsess over something else, however.

Kadokawa Shoten Reportedly Says April Haruhi is Rerun

The J-Cast News website reports that it contacted a public relations representative from the Kadokawa Shoten Animation Group about Kadokawa's recent television advertisement. The ad revealed the Haruhi Suzumiya anime cover on the company's Newtype magazine issue that ships on February 10. The representative said the group is absolutely not making an announcement now. On the topic of the April television debut mentioned on the magazine cover, the representative reportedly said, "It is a rebroadcast. It is broadcasting mainly on Teletama and other UHF stations."

Joa genau, aber wenn eine zweit Staffel kommt, hätte ich nichts dagegen. Die erste Staffel fand ich super und ich hoffe das die Zweite auch so gut wird, wenn Sie dann kommt!
