DVD Laufwerk - Regionalfrei machen

Weil ich desöfteren DVD´s sehe wollte ich mein DVD Laufwerk freischalten.

Ich habe DVD Genial versucht und den DVD Region Killer.

Das Bild ist nicht mehr aktuell, kann nur noch einaml freischalten.

Als ich versucht habe mit dem einen und dann mit dem anderen Programm die Region von 2 auf 3 umzustellen bzw dies zu umgehen, hat mich PowerDVD aufgefordert die Region umzustellen.

WTF.

Kennt jemand eventuell noch ein anderes Tool hierfür, weil ich mir nichts bewußt bin, was ich falsch gemacht haben könnte.

btw: Es gibt nicht besonders viele Optionen bei den Programmen. Und die Optionen sind einfach gehalten/erklärt.

tja.. erst mal gibt es tausende DVD Laufwerke... sollen wir den raten was für einen du hast?.. *Kristalkugel auspack*..

Man kann mit Hilfe von Software den Regio-Code "entfernen":

Mit DVD Ghost funktioniert es einwandfrei. Vielen Dank.

Eigentlich sollte (ist) es doch egal sein, um was für ein DVD Laufwerk es sich handelt. DVD Shrink und PowerDVD,.... funktionieren ja auch mit jedem Lw. Oder habe ich was vergessen?

Ich vertraue voll und ganz auf AnyDVD, seitdem ich das drauf habe hatte ich nie Probleme mit Region Code oder störender Werbung am anfang der DVD.

Mir ist grad noch eine Siete eingefallen wo man Region Free Firmware runterladen und aufspielen könnte.

Hier muss ich noch ganz deutlich sagen, dass ihr dann auch eurer Garantie verliert falls etwas schief läuft oder wenn ihr die Vorgehensweise nicht befolgt. Das genaue Brennermodel solltet ihr kennen, falls nicht, kann man dies unter Geräte Manager nachschlagen.
