[Frage] Nowadays, is doujin/ Hentai manga more popular than Hentai animation?

I mean it in the personal taste of consumers, not in sales numbers. Personally, I can't decide which one I prefer. Although the quality of animation is good nowadays, at least from some animation studios, I see in other forums that people prefer the freedom that manga drawing offers them in erotic content, I would like to know the opinion of the people here in order to satisfy my curiosity.

I like to think that, doujin is way more popular and in general just easier to get into.

I don't mind some of the more modern hentai, there's good animation studios but for me it's nothing special. I saw a late 90s early 2000s Hentai that still amazes me because it's so well animated (forgot the name unfortunately) but either way I much prefer doujins since they have more detail
