The latest installment in the series, it also brings back Takami Akai's art. Taking place in current day Japan, the player (who can choose between being a father or mother) must, once again, take care of a little girl until she is 18 years old. Compared to its predecessors, Princess Maker 5 has a lot more depth. You set up weekly schedules for your daughter, define her curfew hour, how you want her to act with elders among other things, which affect her status gains. You can also check her personal diary to monitor her friendship with other colleagues and boyfriend. You can only go out on sundays, and going to places, like a specific shop or the mountain shrine, takes time. You can find events happening in these places in certain days, so it's a good idea to save before going out!
