Cosmic Era (C.E.) 70, "Bloody Valentine" tragedy escalated into the war, and the war between Earth Alliance and ZAFT became severe. Making many sacrifices, they achieved a truce after the second battle over the Yakin Due. However, this truce didn`t subdue the conflicts between Naturals and Coordinators completely.

During the war, Shin Asuka was involved in Earth Alliance`s intrusion into Orb. While he was escaping from the fire, he lost his parents and little sister before his face. When he was deep in sorrow gripping her cellular phone, which is the only memento, a Mobile Suit Gundam, which was the principal cause of the war, was flying over his head. Being disappointed, he left Orb and went to Plant.

C.E. 73., he became a ZAFT soldier.

Kurosaki Ichigo is not a regular 15 year old, because he has always had the ability to see spirits and ghosts. One day, a female Shinigami (soul reaper) named Kuchiki Rukia appears before him, hunting for an evil spirit. But during the confrontation, the Shinigami`s powers are transfered to Ichigo. Thus begins the adventures of Ichigo and Rukia and their mission to herd Hollows (fallen spirits who devour souls ).

Kippei is a ladies man. Always in trouble for flirting in class, after class, anytime he can. So it is some big surprise to him when he gets saddled with watching Yuzuyu, a cute little girl.

Yuzuyu`s mother has gone missing, and so Kippei`s family is watching her until her mother can be found. Of course, since Kippei could use a few lessons in responsibility, he is the "best" choice for the job.

This story is working out to be very cute. Kippei`s natural "mother" instinct is really brought to the front while trying to to his best for Yuzuyu, but he is a boy. His ineptitude regarding the smallest things a mother would need to know [like packing a lunch for school] are endearing rather than hokey, and the character of Yuzuyu is cute, without being overly so.
