hallo, ich bin grade im DC forum auf einen thread gestoßen. anscheinend sind schwere unruhen ausgebrochen.

Besides the police brutalities and escalated arrests they decided to block our connections to the world as a respond to the anti-government demonstrations protests that has been taking place in the streets for the past 48 hours!!!
As if all the murders and arrests weren't enough!! Now they don't even want us to speak!!! I do hope these protests escalate into a full-scale revolution. Enough is enough!! Those fascists has to go!! "

Except in our case here there is no V.... and things aren't as stable-looking as they were in the story.

remember that last scene in V FOR VENDETTA where ppl march ino the streets and the army awaits? this is how it is here npw. except the army isnt holding their fire! live bullets are being fired at people. over 20 dead and 500 wounded and almost a 1000 arrests in less than 48 hours. and the prisoners are shipped to military baracks and denied any rights.
i guess soon we'll be one of those spots on the news where there's fire and protests and deaths and u just flip the channel away coz ur sick of it.
and they wonder why i was supporting the US invasion of afghanistan and iraq. the US agenda might be blury regarding motive but it's understable to me when a country protects itself/interests by going to war, but it's never understandable to me when a gun is pointed at my chest by my own military and police who are supposed to be protecting me!!! "
"I remember this episode of Superman TAs when he had beaten Darkseid and the slaves of Apokalyps just carry Darkseid to safety. Back then that scene pissed me off coz that's what we've been doing here for 3 long decades of dictatorship.
I wasn't much into Superman and never knew Darkseid prior to that episode but I know that ever since I've really really hated Darkseid like I hate no other villain.
Before Facebook was axed here I entered a debate with two felow Egyptians who labelled me as a traitor coz I wished for US and UN to use military option to force the Egyptian government to step down, coz I know that like all dictators they are a bunch of cowards who willl never escalate a war to protect their regimes. President Hosni Mubarak and his band of thieves are nothing but vermin. They have no cause to defend. they are in it for their own benifit. And I admit that we as people are responsible.
You should listen to their media spins of the events...disgusting!!! They cant even fabricate a proper lie. And now rumors fly that the president's family have secretly fled to London. Where's international law when you need it?? "
