[Frage] Hentai illegal in Europe?

i'm thinking of maybe buying these Japanese hentai DVDs and i'm from Norway but i dunno if
i'll get into trouble for buying them. i heard that in Sweden and in Germany hentai is illegal
how bad is it though? penalty wise can i get sentenced to jail or pay a fine? also in Japan there's
these magazines which features teenage girls in swimsuits i can't recall the name but would i get
in trouble for buying those magazines?

I dont know how it is in Norway, but in Germany Hentai isnt illegal at all.
Something like Lolicon (Age 8-14?!) is illegal, they say its the "same" as normal child porn (rl). If you want to import it, you must be careful. I think its similiar in Norway, but Im not sure.
Therefore you must look in your law. There are other "Genres" like Lolicon which can be complicated. I think you can read it out of the law, if you look carefully.

As of 2005, the Norwegian penal act criminalizes any depictions that 'sexualize' children, even if it does not actually show sexual acts with children.
This would include, for example, an adult model with childish clothes/toys/surroundings.[but not yet approved if it's really this way]. It is not certain whether this law would also apply to lolicon as it hasn't been tried in that aspect yet.

and you have to clear the custom-control.
Norway wants you to collect Tax.
And for that they want to know what exactly are in the parcel.
They even will open it, to see if it's declared in the right way.
Do theay find suspicious things, they will give it to the department of public prosecution. So it can get really bad.

Well even if somekind of Hentai "can be pronounced illegal" the law always can be harder or easyer depends what judge u have XD.

So i know about "melonpan" ,a international well known swiss Otaku, buying Lolicon doujins en masse.
Also dakimakura

He didn't get touched once XD ... so even if you order some lolicon the chance to get caught are not that big.
