[Frage] How good is your German?

It's quite bad. I was forced to learn French and Spanish in my school but never German (not that I can really speak those languages very well either).

I don't know enough to hold a conversation, just the odd phrase or word that I've picked up on.
However some of my friends are German and other members of my family speak it proficiently, so if I'm ever in desperate need of a translator I know who to ask :P

Not at all. I was playing on some german server of some games I liked, so I know the name of items, bonuses and such in german. But outside that pretty nothing. And frankly speaking I don't really like how a lot of german people sound when they talk it, sorry :D

I don't know a single German word, in fact it took me a couple of days to even realize that this site has an English version.

Well, I guess it's not strange that the most hated language from people it's the native language misused/mispronounced by other natives.
But somehow I find languages such as French and German very hard to stand, even worse than bad Italian (my language). With exceptions. There were a couple of german youtubers with a certain accent that wasn't annoying to my ear. But I would not be surprised if most native German people find that specific accent annoying, as natives :D

I don't speak a word of German, but this site has a lot of what I am looking for. Sad that there isn't as big of an English base as their is a German base.

I'm dutch so german comes easy, still, writing in german takes a lot more effort for me then reading it

I only know how to say 1, 2 and 3 thanks to anime.

Pretty bad for me. I only know as much German compared to English because of a few similar words the same way as I know as much about Mandarin compared to Japanese because of Kanji.
