INSTRUCTIONS
Tools needed:
1.
Rapelay Utility (
RLU)
One of the greatest tools for modders of this game, and as long as you follow my instructions, real easy to use.
I have included it with this mod in case you don't already have it.
But, you will need to make sure you have .NET Framework 2.0 installed on your system first as RLU requires it to run. Check at Microsoft's site, or do a Google search to find more info on .NET
2. Applying the meshes to the .pp files
The new mesh will have to be injected into nine (9) .xx files.
From the archive this mod is from, unpack both the "
Body" and "
Dress" folders somewhere on your HD. Doesn't matter where, just remember where you put them.
Once you have
RLU installed, and you can put it anywhere you want on your HD, start up the program.
Press the F1 key and a window will open up and by default it looks inside your Rapelay "data" directory.
Click on the "
RPP_05.pp" file to load it into
RLU. You should see the file appear in a little window named "
.pp file"
Click your mouse on the
RPP_05.pp inside that little window, and the window below, "
.xx File", will show a listing of .xx files that are within
RPP_05.pp.
Click your mouse on "
am00_02.xx" in the "
.xx File" window and you should see in the center window of
RLU, a listing of textures show up.
Press your F2 key, and
RLU will open up a window. Navigate to where ever you put the "
Body" folder from the archive and load the "
a_On_body.mqo" file into
RLU. This is the modified Manaka body mesh file.
Just to the right of where you see "
a_On_body.mqo" loaded is a section named "
.mqo file" with two (2) buttons, "
OverWrite" and "
Save mqo" Simply press the "
OverWrite" button and the modified body will be injected into "
am00_02.xx"
In the "
.xx File" window, click your mouse on "
am00_03.xx"
Again, in the "
.mqo file" section of
RLU, press the "
OverWrite" button, and the modified body mesh will be injected into "
am00_03.xx" file.
Now, press your F2 key again, and navigate to where ever you have the "
Dress" folder from the archive and load the "
a_On_wanpi.mqo" into
RLU.
You should still have "
am00_03.xx" highlighted in the "
.xx file" window, so again, press the "
OverWrite" button. You have now injected the modified Manaka Dress mesh into "
am00_03.xx"
Click your mouse on "
am00_02.xx" in the "
.xx file" window. Again, click the "
OverWrite" button and the modified Manaka Dress mesh will be injected into "
am00_02.xx"
Pat yourself on the back for a good job so far.
Now, you see how simple it is to get the meshes in? Good, because you have a few more .xx files to inject these meshes too. Here is the list:

I know, looks like a lot, but they'll all need to have the meshes injected. If you followed the instructions for the
am00_02.xx &
am00_03.xx files, it's the same procedure for the others, load up the necessary .pp file, highlight the required .xx files, load up the meshes and click the "
OverWrite" button.
Pretty simple, just takes a some time to do properly.
3. Once all the meshes are injected in all the required .xx files, go run the game and enjoy the fruits of your labor.
