I sort of understand Cheaters, especially in some game I played competetively over years. There is big pressure pressuring you to perform well from your teammates, and possibly your clan members or even sponsores and your brain releases certain pheromones if you win, and certain other pheromones if oyu lose. There are lots of other factors that possibly make oyu cheat, like bad threatment from your allies or being excluded from your beloved Leagues if you perform bad, and the fact that cheating tools are easy to get and hard to detect (e.g. I have been branded a cheater often because of my immense mindgame and prediction-skills.)
I can really see while cheaters are around, I even saw a documentary about board games and it was described that by nature there are various types of players, and cheaters are among them. Nature has them too: For example, some (for birds) tasty flies have that dangerous yellow-dark color pattern and imitate the looks of wasps in order to not get eaten.
All in all, you should try to not assume that your way of life is by default the proper one.
*I play fair at online games* >>>> *All cheaters should get their PC demolished*
*Occasionally I view/leech certain Media online that I did not buy* >>>> *It's okay many do that, there's no harm done*
As of single player, games became way too easy anyway for the most part, or offer literally nonexisting resistance on easy difficulty settings so there is mostly no reasyon to cheat. For example, I played StarKraft 2 on Normal for a while (there is an easy mode, too) and I found myself having better units than my enemies so there was absolutely no challenge.
